RenameFiles overview
With RenameFiles you can cut, move, prepend, replace or append text to/in file names (not folders, only files). Drag lists of files onto the icon or window and when you are done, click the gears-icon in the toolbar to start the renaming process.
Note: While the software is classified as free, it is actually donationware. Please consider making a donation to help support development.
What’s new in version 3.1
- Fixed some bugs with (re)moving text with multi-byte, overlaying characters.
- Changed: Select multiple rows, instead of just one, to remove from the list.
- Added: File, Windows and Help menu.
- Added: 'Add Files...' menu item.
- Added: 'Add a Folder...' menu item.
- Added: Possibility to drop one or more folders on the window.
- Fixed: The list is modernized.
